Vice President and Global Head of Account Management

Most recently I led a team of integrated marketing managers at international auction house Christie's. In collaboration with data, design, digital, editorial and social media teams, we operated as an in-house agency providing holistic, multi-channel marketing support from strategy and ideation, through to execution, performance review and ongoing client support.

 responsibilities and EXPERIENCE

  • Leadership: Built and managed a high performance team of five direct reports from the ground up, providing training and mapping career growth, while driving alignment across a 30+ person global communications department
  • Integration: Responsible for coordination and optimization of the paid, owned and earned eco-system 
  • Project Management:  Developed and implemented group processes to promote efficiencies, coordinate stakeholders and ensure seamless and timely delivery of tactics
  • Budget Management: Administered project budgets from $5,000 to $5 million+, including vendor and partner negotiations
  • Brand Initiatives: Drove launch of corporate brand campaign in partnership with creative agency BBH (check out the video below!)
  • Media and Advertising: Developed relationships with global and regional media titles and agencies to build media plans spanning print and digital, including social media and paid search
  • E-commerce: Built strategic and tactical marketing campaigns to support e-commerce platform, with 70+ sales/ year
  • Client Management: Partnered with roster of internal clients to support sell-the-sale objectives and long-term client cultivation
  • Influencer Campaigns: Sourced and partnered with tastemakers to create original content and develop new customer access channels
  • Luxury Marketing: Deep understanding of HNWIs and their primary purchasing motivators and behaviors

  • Management Development Program, a year-long program for select top-performing, high-potential employees
  • Oversight of marketing campaigns for contemporary art category, including most successful year on record (grossing over $1.6 billion)

BBDO, creative agency, 2004 - 2008

Early in my career I cut my teeth at international agency BBDO. There I gained a deep understanding of the creative process and what it means to tackle a brand challenge from the ground up. In 2005 I helped establish a new group called DesignWorks, which supported the agency's full client roster, such as HBO, New Balance, Target and Conservation International. My role was threefold: project manager, studio manager and print producer. With DesignWorks we brought a fully integrated capability to the table offering best-in-class and strategically-informed design.
